Luzon Dance Force: Auditors Turned Hip-hop Phenoms
In a triumph that resonates far beyond the stage, the Luzon Group of the Commission on Audit (COA) has secured victory in the COA Nationwide Hip-hop Dance Competition on May 2, 2024, highlighting one of the significant events in the celebration of COA’s 125th Anniversary as an established government institution.
Competing against formidable opponents from Visayas, Mindanao, and the National Capital Region Groups, the Luzon Dance Force, comprised of 12 employees from COA Regional Office No. IV-A showcased unparalleled talent and determination under the leadership of visionary choreographer Mark Andrew B. Cababan and the astute management of Atty. John Arvin B. Atie, Supervising Auditor, Local Government Audit Sector A – Province of Batangas I. COA Region IV-A Celebrates National Women’s Month
The passage of Proclamation No. 224 s. 1988, entitled “Declaring the First Week of March of Every Year as Women’s Week and March 8, 1988, and Every Year Thereafter as Women’s Rights and International Peace Day,” and Proclamation No. 227 s. 1988, “Providing for the observance of the Month of March as ‘Women’s Role in History Month” signed by then President Corazon C. Aquino on March 1, 1988 and March 17, 1988, respectively, served as the legal bases for the celebration of National Women’s Month. These laws showed our solidarity with the United Nations in recognizing women’s achievements and contribution in the 20th century. (more…)

Atty. Evander M. Arcenal, State Auditor II, is currently assigned as the Audit Team Leader of Amadeo Water District, Team R4A – 03, Water Districts (WD) and other CGAS Stand-Alone Agencies.
Atty. Adrian G. Dela Cruz, State Auditor I, is currently assigned as an Audit Team Member at the Municipality of Kawit, Team R4A – 04, Local Government Audit Sector B, Province of Cavite.
A total of 3,812 out of 10,387 or 36.77 % of examinees passed the 2023 Bar examinations, with Associate Justice Ramon Paul Hernando as the 2023 Bar Chairman.
