To SA Nerma, this is a day of gratitude, for the years of service of she has rendered, hearing all the messages, one thing is consistent and that is her invaluable guidance to her Audit Team Leaders, Audit Team Members and all the staff in Quezon II,” says Regional Director Atty. Resurreccion C. Quieta in his message.

      COA Regional Office No. IV-A, Local Government Audit Sector – E, Province of Quezon II welcomed its new OIC-Supervising Auditor (SA) Christopher H. Perez during the turn-over Ceremony on January 31, 2023 in Lucena City, Quezon. Outgoing SA Nerma C. Dela Rosa who officially retired effective February 1, 2023, handed over the key of responsibilities and signed over the documents to SA Perez, symbolizing the official transfer of leadership, duties and responsibilities of the said office.

       In response, outgoing SA Dela Rosa could not contain her tears as she bids farewell to everyone who wished her well in her retirement, she thanked all the Quezon II personnel for supporting her in her journey as the SA of the Province of Quezon II for six (6) years.

       In-coming SA Perez, thanked RD Rex for the trust and confidence bestowed upon him and promised to continue on the legacy that SA Nerma has paved the way. He conveyed his appreciation to the warm hearted welcome of the ATLs, TMs, and staff of Quezon II.

      SA Dela Rosa joined COA on November 22, 1982 where she was assigned as Auditing Examiner III at that time and steadily rose from the ranks. Due to her hard work an dedication, she was promoted as Audit Team Leader on December 1, 2003. From then, she has audited the different agencies in Quezon Province starting from Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), Commission on Elections (COMELEC), Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Department of Education (DepEd), different Local Government Units (LGUs) in Quezon Province, the City Government of Lucena, until her promotion as OIC-SA for the Province of Quezon II and in her concurrent capacity as the ATL for the Provincial Government of Quezon.

      OIC-SA Perez graduated from Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation, Inc., with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Accountancy in 1998 and eventually passed the CPA Board. In his early days as a CPA, he worked in private companies, including Calmar Land Development Corporation and Avida Land Corporation. He joined COA on February 14, 2011 as Audit Team Member and was appointed as OIC-ATL in 2016 assigned at Local Government Sector E – Province of Quezon

      The event was attended by the different Regional Officers, namely: SA Rodolfo Asuncion, SA Celerino Alviar, SA Atty. John Arvin Atie, RSA Vivian Cavida, OIC-DC Delvee Sacdalan and OIC-DC Cruzette Dela Cruz.
