“Today we recognize our beloved service awardees who have served 40 or more than 40 years of service to COA and our retirees who have joined us via Zoom, my warmest congratulations to all of you and I wish to thank all of you for your dedicated and generous service to the Commission on Audit and to its vision and mission, thank you your loyalty to COA, and for your sacrifices despite all the difficulties and challenges especially during this time of the pandemic”, says the hard-working, progressive and innovative Regional Director of Region IV-A, Atty. Resurreccion C. Quieta

On May 6, 2022, Regional Office No. IV-A held a Recognition Ceremony for the eleven (11) Service Awardees and twenty-eight (28) retirees through face to face and via Zoom platform event. For the service awardees, the combined number years of service is more than 440 years as they have served for forty (40) years or more. Director Rex urged them to continue to serve as an inspiration for others, and wished that they would not retire as of yet. “If only we could stop you from retiring because COA still needs you”, he further added.

“Always work hard, mag-tiaga lang and mahalin ang COA, ito yon tumutulong satin, source ng hanapbuhay kaya dapat may malasakit tayo at para din sa taong bayan kasi trabaho natin siya”, said OIC-SA Flora H. Arcoirez, who was one of the service awardees who received a Certificate of Appreciation, Plaque/Statue of Recognition, a Commemorative Watch and bouquet of flowers.
